This can be a photo you took yourself, a screenshot from your own analytics, or a custom illustration tied directly to your product or process. These visuals prove you know your stuff.

Now, if you’re stuck using stock photos, don’t just slap them in. Add value. Overlay a quote. Annotate with a tip. Crop it differently or use a consistent brand filter. Make it feel like yours.

Do:

  • Use your own photos or visuals whenever you can

  • Use keywords only when they fit the description.
  • If the image is decorative or already explained in nearby text, use alt="" so screen readers skip it.

If your alt text is vague or stuffed with keywords, you’re not helping anyone. The best alt descriptions are clear, specific, and tied to the context of the page.
